If spending a few days riding your mortorcycle through the African safari isn't enough for you, maybe the fact that you can ride alongisde Alvaro Bautista and Randy Mamola will be enough to entice you to join Riders for Health. Bautista has just confirmed that he will be making the 2011 trip with Riders for Health through Zambia.
"I am so pleased to be taking part in this amazing adventure to Zambia with Riders for Health next year," said Bautista. "I have been a supporter of Riders for Health for a long time and I can’t wait to see the work that they are doing. The riding will be fantastic, and everyone who signs up and comes along to help raise money for Riders for Health will have an incredible time."
Participants will be able to join MotoGP star Alvaro Bautista, and 13-time GP winner and co-founder of the Riders Health charity Randy Mamola, for ten days of riding through Africa. Participants will get to enjoy some of the best off-road trails in the world as the pass places like Victoria Falls, but they will also be able to get a first hand look at the work that Riders for Health does, and see how it wouldn't be possible without Motorcycles.
"Last year I had the most incredible ten days riding in the wonderful country of Lesotho and now I am looking forward to visiting Zambia," Mamola said. "It is amazing to see that the machine that gives us all so much pleasure – the motorcycle – is having such a huge impact on people’s lives in Africa. The Riders for Health Experience Africa ride is sure to be a life changing experience."
