With over 120 years of history to its name, Triumph Motorcycles has had its ups and downs over the years. These bumps in the road were often accompanied by changes in ownership in an effort to keep the name of the world’s longest continuous production motorcycle manufacturer alive. Kyle Wyman has teamed up with Sportbike Track Time and Apex Manufacturing, for at least the next four rounds of the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike series. With Kyle Wyman teaming up with Sportbike Track Time and Apex Manufacturing, the next question is, what will he be riding? Well, Wyman will be riding one of the most dominating and agile machines on the market, the Triumph 675R.
Triumph Motorcycles announced today that it is the newest sponsor of the AMA Pro Series race at Barber Motorsports Park and the presenting sponsor of the Barber Vintage Festival.
Triumph Dealers of America will present the 8th annual Barber Vintage Festival from October 12th through the 14th, and the 2012 Triumph Superbike Classic will take place at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama on June 22nd to the 24th.
Triumph North America CEO, Greg Heichelbech, called Barber Motorsports Park "one of the premier road courses in North America" in his announcement of the partnership. "The Triumph Superbike Classic is the perfect showcase for our high-performance motorcycles," said Heichelbech. "The Barber Vintage Festival allows us to put our rich brand heritage on living display at a venue that also includes the finest motorcycle museum in the world."

Triumph had a pretty good year in 2011 and the company is looking to keep the ball moving in 2012. Triumph is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year with a great product lineup including three new motorcycles.
Last week Triumph Motorcycles announced that it was seeing big sales in 2011 and the company is point to its aggressive and wide-ranging line of motorcycles as the reason for its success. It looks like Triumph is taking the same approach in India as they are expected to bring seven new models down to the Auto Expo in New Delhi at the end of January.
