Daniel Simon is the go-to-guy when it comes to building impossible motorcycles. His latest creation, The Detonator, which is the world's most expensive electric motorcycle, looks more like a Transformer than a motorcycle.
And it wouldn't be surprising if Simon got his inspiration from the sci-fi blockbuster. After all, it was Simon, with help from Parker Brothers, who created the amazing Tron Lightcycle.
The Detonator, which has a sticker price of $100,000, is 11.5 feet long. It's powered by lithium-ion batteries and gets about 80-100 miles per charge. According to Born Rich, the Detonator can hit speeds in excess of 120 mph.![]()
On his website, Simon calls the Detonator a "street cruiser bike built for humanoid droids." But even with its futuristic look and description, this bike is still street legal... You just need $100,000 to put it there.
