Kawasaki has just unveiled its 2012 product lineup. From the touring Vulcan Voyager, to the middleweight Ninja 650R, to the balls to the wall ZX-14R, Kawasaki's 2012 motorcycles continue the manufacturer's long standing tradition of quality bikes that suite the needs of a wide range of riders.
Kawasaki's middleweight offering, the Ninja 650R, has already proven itself as a top sportbike, but the 2012 is even more refined.
"They're known as "sweet spot" motorcycles: streetbikes so balanced, user-friendly and all-around capable that they stand well above their two-wheeled counterparts, forging lasting reputations as exciting, practical and stylish machines."

The Ninja is powered by a 649cc vertical twin engine that delivers power through thedigital fuel injection system. The narrow engine gives the bike great balance but still provides the Ninja with tremendous power. Kawasaki also switched up the exhaust system a bit on the 2012 model by giving the new Ninja a header-section connector pipe and a three-chamber muffler design.
Kawasaki explains:
"The high-rpm rush remains, but Kawasaki engineers have pushed additional power down into the mid-range zone, which results in even more all-around usability and in-town responsiveness."
The new Ninja also features an all-new twin pipe frame gives the bike a little more rigidity. The bike is narrow waisted, with a low seat height, making it possible for just about everyone to sit flat footed in the saddle. And while you're sitting in the saddle, you can enjoy a thicker and slightly wider seat.
Up front the new Ninja displays all the information you'll need while you ride. The instrument panel includes analog tachometer which sets above an LCD info-center. Speed, trip meter, fuel consumption, miles to empty... you name it you know it on the new Ninja.
The new Ninja is a nimble sportbike with enough power to scare the crap out of a novice, but the handling, weight, seat height, and stop on a dime brakes make the bike suitable for every rider.
