Lit Motors Blurs the Line Between Motorcycle and Car [Video] Hot

c-1_lit_motorsIt only has two wheels, but it also has walls... It’s light and nimble, but it also has a steering wheel... Honestly, I have no idea what to call this thing, but the people at Lit Motors are calling it the C-1, so we’ll just go with that.

This enclosed motorcycle is still 6-months away from production, but it already has the motorcycle world, auto world, and world world talking.

The C-1 is an all-wheel, electric, eco-friendly motorcycle that could satisfy the needs of motorcyclists, car drivers, and the eco-conscience all at one time. And unlike other modern marvels of the auto world, the C-1 has a fairly reasonable market price.

Lit Motors CEO Daniel Kim expects the C-1 to cost consumers about $16,000.

Here’s a video from Lit Motors.

Lit Motors expects to be selling the C-1 by 2013. Will you be in line? Is this the next generation of electric vehicles?

What do you think about enclosed motorcycles like this? Could they encourage more people to consider motorcycles generally? Is it something that you might consider riding or owning? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to vote in our poll!
