If you want to get a Brammo motorcycle, your shopping options are pretty limited. Brammo motorcycles, like the Enertia and the Empulse, are currently available at a handful of Best Buy stores. But Brammo is seeking to extend their reach far beyond the walls of Best Buy. Brammo just signed on its first motorcycle dealership, and says that they plan to add a hundred more by the end of the year.
Brammo is currently trying to build a dealer network that will span the United States. The company is concentrating on both highly populated area and parts of the country with the best riding. Adrian Stewart, sales and marketing director at Brammo, says that the goal is to have 50 to a 100 dealers in the network by the end of the year.
Brammo is starting its dealership program close to home. The first motorcycle dealership to carry the electric motorcycle will be Scuderia West in San Francisco. The new dealership program will be spurred by the release of the Empulse, a motorcycle that Brammo says can get more than 100 miles per charge and reach speeds of more than 100 miles per hour. Stewart says that there are already 1000 pre-orders for the new Empulse.
As Brammo works to extend its dealership network, Best Buy will still carry motorcycles at select locations.
If you haven’t seen the Empulse yet, here’s a video from Brammo.
