Coming Soon: 2012 MV Agusta F3 Sportbike Hot

2012_MV_Agusta_F3In 2010, the new MV Agusta F3 was named the "most beautiful bike" award at the 60th International Motorcycle Exposition. The F3, a smaller version of the F4 (another most beautiful bike winner) is about to get another upgrade, as MV Agusta has just announced that the 2012 MV Agusta F3 will go into production in September.

The new F3, dubbed a "moving piece of art" by MV Agusta, will have a 675cc three cylinder engine.

"The engine is the most compact, incredible short and narrow engine ever seen in this category," MV Agusta said on their website. "The powerplant is incredibly modern in design, technologically advanced and capable of generating the most power ever seen in this category. One of the numerous technical features is the counter- rotating crankshaft, never before seen on a production supersport engine."

MV Agusta says that the new F3's engine will output over 133 horse power at 15000 rpms. The F3 will have a ride-by-wire system, and the engine will feature a "counter-rotating crankshaft" which MV says will increase the bikes agility.

MV says that the new F3 will go into production by September and will be available by the end of the year. No word yet on price, or if it will be available immediately in the US.
