The 2009 Ducati Streetfighter is an all-new bike with elements from the 1198 and 1098, altered to fit the personality of the naked sportbike. The Ducati Streetfighter provides superbike performance in a compact, agile motorcycle. Powering the motorcycle, a 1099cc engine produces 155hp and 85lb-ft at 9,500 rpm. Comfort as well as control is enhanced by a decreased seat-to-handlebar distance and an increased seat-to-footpeg distance compared to that of the 1198; the forward riding position is not as extreme as a superbike, but allows greater feel and control than a cruiser.
