Johnny Murphree Joins the Crew at Beta Motorcycles Hot

johnny_murphreeBeta Motorcycles is looking forward to the 2011 season, especially now that Johnny Murphree has joined the team. Murphree, a former Pro AMA National Flat Tracker, has joined the work force at Beta Motorcycles, as well as Mike Cozza, who will be overseeing the parts department.

"It's really exciting to be part of the oldest family-owned motorcycle manufacturer in the world," Murphree said. "After riding the bike and getting acquainted, I'm ecstatic to be involved with such a great company and such great bikes."

Murphree will be bringing his years of experience as a flat track racer with him to Beta Motorcycles, as well as his passion for off-roading. Murphree will be focusing on the internal operations of Beta Motorcycles, as well as working to make sure dealers have the tools and information they need.

The 2011 Beta Motorcycle crew also welcomes Mike Cozza. Beta Motorcycles was happy to announce that Cozza was joining their team, but they also noted that Cozza will be starting an equally important job as a father. Beta is truly a family run type of business.

"I have worked with both Johnny and Mike on earlier projects and what we have is a positive continuity that equals success," Tim Pilg of American Beta said. "We already have 'The Bike' and now I feel we have the perfect team to make things happen."

Beta, in Italian based brand, is excited about how their American branch is shaping up for 2011.
