Honda Announces New Color for VFR1200F ABS Hot

Honda logoAs the old saying goes, “any color you like…as long as you like black.” To be fair to Honda, the new color scheme for the 2011 VFR1200F ABS will be black and silver; they call it Darkness Black Metallic / Digital Silver Metallic and it is actually an additional color option – not the only one. One thing Honda did very right with their new high-tech sport-tourer (emphasis is Honda’s) was the incredible paint application process they developed for this machine at their Kumamoto plant. No matter the color you select, it looks deep and rich on this VFR model. It is a look we will all be grateful to see on many other motorcycles in the future.2011 Honda VFR1200F ABS in Black

The 2011 model is identical to the 2010 model in every other way save this new hue. Honda apparently is quite satisfied with the sales and the reception of the new VFR from the riding public. Of course, it could also be a necessary austerity move for an industry which has been suffering greatly during the present economic downturn. Since Honda has already invested a significant development budget towards this advanced new motorcycle, they would have a hard time justifying more development costs to simply add some new ‘bells and whistles.’ However, the sales figures are also said to be solid, so they may simply be thinking it best not to tamper with success at this time.

Nevermind the reasoning behind this news, it is the new look which is important here…and the 2011 Honda VFR1200F ABS looks so very good in black.
