The 2009 Triumph Daytona 675 builds on the already proven frame and engine combination. Stopping power is improved by the addition of front monobloc radial calipers and radial master cylinder. The Engine Management System has been calibrated to accept Triumph’s new accessory quick shifter. Power improvements for 2009 are minimal with an increase of 3 bhp. The rear wheel has been changed for reduced weight and inertia; according to Triumph this will improve acceleration and suspension performance. Which I suspect will not be noticeable to everyday riders.
