Since the first Triumph emerged in 1902, the company’s philosophy has remained the same: to develop truly unique motorcycles that are distinctive in looks, design and performance. Well 107 years later, the famed English company sticks with that commitment, but not only with their bikes; they recently added a unique collection of apparel products by collaborating with Alpinestars to develop an extensive new collection, “Triumph, engineered by Alpinestars.”
“Our collaboration with this world leading manufacturer brings the very best sports products to Triumph riders,” Triumph says. “We have worked closely with Alpinestars to develop our own premium collection of products focused on performance and sport bike riding. The ‘Triumph, engineered by Alpinestars’ riding garments include a top of the range one piece suit, jackets and jeans, along with a glove and boot collection.”
The apparel line was developed in conjunction with some of the world’s fastest MotoGP riders donning the famed Alpinestars, and complements Triumph’s full line of Urban Sport motorcycles, which includes the class-leading Daytona 675 as well as the Speed Triple, Street Triple and the new Street Triple R.
Here’s a breakdown of “Triumph engineered by Alpinestars” apparel:
AS 2
: Made f 1.2 – 1.4 mm full grain leather; it’s based on Alpinestars’ RC-1 jacket.
AS 1 Gloves: Triumph says: “the ultimate in race riding, developed between Alpinestars and GP riders.”
AS 1 Boots: Designed with racing in mind, but great for everyday riding; based on Alpinestars’ S-MX R boot.
AS 1 One-Piece Racing Suit: Triumph says this suit was designed and developed with GP riders for optimum track racing performance; it’s basically a restyled Alpinestars MX-1 suit.
Available at the nearly 200 authorized Triumph Motorcycle dealers throughout North America, “Triumph engineered by Alpinestars” apparel is the perfect accessory for the true lover of the famed English machine. And the added safety factor that Alpinestars instills in its time and tested apparel brings extra protection. And lovers of the original Triumph line of motorcycle apparel shouldn’t worry; the company has confirmed it will continue to develop and offer their original apparel.
