Aprilia and Honda Atop Industry

Manufacturers abound in the sport of motocross and there are countless brands that produce motorcycles around the world.  However, a few companies have really distinguished themselves as top quality manufacturers with superior precision in terms of motorbike construction.

Both Aprilia and Honda have set themselves apart as leading manufacturers in the industry.  Looking at the history and vision of each company lets us know how far they have come since their original conception.

Back in 1974, Aprilia first introduced a competitive motocross vehicle.  Only a year later, Aprilia managed to manufacture some motorcycles that would prove to be genuine contenders for racing success in the sport.  When 1977 came and went, Aprilia had already earned two titles in the Italian motocross championship.  An Italian rider placed in sixth in the motocross world championship in 1978, and he was riding an Aprilia motorbike.  This was the highest achievement of an Italian rider to date, and Aprilia's reputation really started to spread around the globe.  In 1985, Aprilia continued to climb the ranks by entering the MotoGP.  Throughout the past two decades, Aprilia has built a name for itself as one of the industry leaders.  This manufacturer has now won 40 world championship titles, and 33 of those have come in MotoGP.

Honda is another fine manufacturer that has really emerged as one of the top producers of motorcycles across the globe.  The company was founded over 50 years ago, and the decades of experience have led to some of the most innovative sport bike developments ever achieved.  In fact, the Honda Motor Company is one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in the world.  Countless motocross and supercross races have been won with Honda bikes to date.  There is no questioning the incredible quality and innovation of this manufacturer.  Even now as you read this article, Honda is putting out new motorbikes unlike anything you have ever seen.
