Honda 2002 VTX1800 Recall

Honda VTX1800 2002
Honda will recall select 2002 VTX1800 units made between August 14 and Oct. 4 of 2001. 
The swing arm may not have been properly welded and could break while the bike is being ridden. 
Honda will begin notifying owners around Sept. 25, and dealers will inspect the weld and, if necessary, replace the swing arm. The potential number of units affected is 688. The NHTSA campaign ID number is 09V362000.
