New 'Ghost Rider' Trailer Released: Nic Cage Rides a Flaming Motorcycle Hot

ghost_riderNicholas Cage is just about ready to unleash "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance." Columbia Pictures has just released the second official trailer featuring the devil's bounty hunter, Johnny Blaze.

The new trailer gives a glimpse at a few new action sequences and shows a few of the villains in the new movie.

The new Nic Cage movie is rated PG-13, but co-director Mark Neveldine said that it isn't because of a lack of dead bodies.

"There's a lot of fire. That's a really good trick for directors who are trying to make really violent PG-13," Neveldine said. "You can burn people all you want. Do you really need to have tits and F-bombs in a 'Ghost Rider' movie? We got a couple of F-bombs, and our body count is huge in this movie. It's just that you don't see blood, because this guy kills you with Penance Stares and he tears you apart into ashes."

The new movie follows Johnny Blaze, a.k.a. the Ghost Rider, as he tries to save a boy from the devil.

Here's the trailer for the new movie.

Co-Director Brian Taylor added:

"We're feeling like there's a lot of wind behind our sails in terms of people wanting to see a version of the 'Ghost Rider' that they didn't feel they got before and a version that was darker and scarier and kinda nastier and more awesome...

"With a movie like this, we really wanted the 'Ghost Rider' to be a more intimidating presence. We didn't want the way the Ghost Rider looked to be jokey and silly like he may have been in the first movie."

Are you going to see "Ghost Rider."
