The only way to truly taste freedom is by riding a motorcycle on the open road. Or, if fresh air and a lack of seat belts aren't your thing, you could just drive a Volkswagen.
A new ad for the 2011 Jetta pokes holes in the ideal pictures of riding a motorcycle. Riding a bike, after all, consists of a lot more than the feeling of wind in your hair. It also consists of the feeling of bugs in your teeth.
VW reminds us that even though motorcycles have the image of supreme cool, it isn't always what it's cracked up to be.
Still, even as pathetic as these two wanna be motorcycle heroes are, I'll take two wheels over four any day.
