Bob Marley's sons Ziggy, Rohan, and Robbie travelled to Africa last summer to make a documentary for the Discovery Channel. The documentary, "Marley Africa Road Trip," will air on Discovery World on November 2nd.
Throughout his career, Bob Marley showed the world his musical vision of Africa. This new series will bring his boys back to the motherland where they will encounter its people, its wildlife, and its music.
Here's a taste of the Marley Africa Road Trip Documentary.
Dressed in Rev'It Gear and riding a few Ducatis, the Marley brothers rediscover a continent that their father tried to unify through music.
"One of my most memorable moments was being in Zimbabwe in 1980 with my father," Ziggy said. "It was life changing for me and it shaped my thoughts of Africa and knowledge of African struggles. What we're trying to do is keep one of the dreams that my father and the forefathers of African liberation had in mind, which is for real African unity."
