Gino Rea Makes the Save! Six Awesome Motorcycle Crash Saves [Video]

Gino_ReaSometimes a motorcycle can act like a bucking bronco. You're cruising around a corner and all of a sudden the bike starts to drift out of line. Next thing you know the bike launches you in the air and there is nothing you can do about it. Unless you're a professional racer like Gino Rea.

During the World Supersport race in Portugal last week, Gino Rea almost had a huge high side crash. But somehow, the Honda rider was able to keep his bike on two wheels.

Here's the video of Gino Rea's save. (You can see some photos of Rea's save at Bike Sport News.)

Rea was able to get his bike back on track to finish 14th during the race.

Here are a couple more great motorcycle crash saves.

Jon Kirkham racing in the superstock 1000 race at Brands Hatch on 8/8/2010

Colin Edwards uses his elbow to lift his bike off the ground during a qualifying session at Jerez in 2008.

Raffaele De Rosa drags along the side before hopping back on the bike.

Jamie Hacking is able to keep his Kawasaki on two wheels.

But the greatest motorcycle save of all time might go to this unidentified racer.

Who do you think had the best motorcycle crash save?
