Marcus Benard Breaks Hand In Motorcycle Accident, Charged With Reckless Driving

marcus_benardCleveland Browns' defensive end Marcus Benard could be out for a couple of weeks. Benard crashed his motorcycle shortly after leaving practice on Monday and broke his arm. But Benard's problems don't end with his injury. The Browns player was also charged with reckless driving and driving under suspension.

Benard was driving a Can-Am Roadster up I-71 when he lost control. Benard hit the guardrail and was thrown from the vehicle onto the highway. According to Cleveland.com, there were no other vehicles involved in the crash.

Details of the crash are not known at this time but a police report is expected to be released later today which will include the cause of the crash and the speed that Benard was driving.
