It isn't often that you get to see cartoons riding motorcycles, but that could change if "Tunnel Riders" gets picked up by a network. "Tunnel Riders," the creation of New York animation company Higgledy Animation Studios, is a mix of "The X-Men," "Mad Max," and every movie ever made about a group of misfits.
Here's the trailer for "Tunnel Rider."
"When Weston shipwrecks his sailboat on the mysterious island of Binari, a group of misfit motorcycle riding cyborg animals known as the Tunnel Riders take him in..."
I'm sold. "A group of misfit motorcycle riding cyborg animals..." yeah, I'll watch this. But in case you need to hear more about the show.
"Intrigued by his strange chip, they quickly learn that the boy is more than meets the eye. Granted with unimaginable powers and heightened abilities as a motorbike warrior, Weston will become the unwitting key to defeating the evil Ambassador and restoring peace to an Island divided by war for centuries."
So will we see "Tunnel Riders" action figures on the shelves of Toys R' Us soon? Or will this show never see the light of day?
If you're a fan of "Tunnel Riders," show them some support on their Facebook page.
