When you're racing at the the Isle of Man, you can expect to see a few crashes. But the amount of poise that this unnamed rider has is just unreal.
According to Jalopnik, the guy who crashes in the video was Brian Purdy, who, despite the giant fireball, escaped from the crash with only a few minor injuries. Purdy was taken to a nearby hospital after the crash where he was treated for a broken arm and a few other injuries.
But what's really crazy about this video is that the rider (does anyone know who this is?) rides into, through, and out of the flames like nothing happened. With the giant fireball behind him, he doesn't slow down or pull over. He cranks back the throttle and launches himself further down one of the deadliest roads for motorcyclists anywhere. (Since racing began at the Isle of Man in the early 1900s, more than 200 people have been killed. This year was no exception as a sidecar team perished during the 2011 Isle of Man TT.)
Here's the video.
