The New Husqvarna Nuda 900RNot long ago, Husqvarna confirmed that a circulating rumor about a new motorcycle model built for street use was on its way. Husqvarna Nuda 900R

You read that correctly, the Husqvarna Nuda 900R has been chosen as the nomenclature for the new road-going twin from the Varese-based company. They have revealed images of the actual bike and the name a little earlier than expected, and most like what they see. A video has even been created to accompanyThe New Husqvarna Nuda 900R the Husqvarna Nuda 900R product announcement which shows off the true intentions of this ‘nude’ Italian supermoto.

Nuda 900R Performance

More Husqvarna Nuda 900R details have been given as well; the engine is, in fact, a reworked version of the BMW / Rotax 800 cc parallel-twin engine which will produce in excess of 100 horsepower and 73 lb/ft (100 Nm) of torque. Suspension is handled via a fully-adjustable Sachs 48 mm fork and Ohlins rear shock, with braking courtesy of Brembo mono-block, radially mounted calipers. Husqvarna claims the Nuda 900R will be a featherweight at less than 386 pounds (175 kilogram), likely a dry weight.

Now we await information on when we may first throw a leg over the Husqvarna Nuda 900R and see if it lives up to its impressively naked details.
