Peter Lenz Motorcycle Goes Up For Auction to Raise Money for Charity

peter_lenz_charityThe racing world was devastated when 13-year old racer Peter Lenz died at the Indianapolis GP last year. In memory of Lenz, the Forever 45 Foundation is auctioning off his Honda RS125 race bike.

The auction, which is currently running on eBay, will raise money for the Peter Lenz Memorial Athletic Field and the Road Racing World Action Fund.

The Peter Lenz Memorial Athletic Field is being built in Vancouver, Washington on land owned by St. Joseph Catholic Church. The field will include a multi-lane running track and a grass athletic infield.

The Road Racing World Action Fund is a charity that works to prevent on track injuries by promoting rider safety and training.

You can bid on Peter Lenz' motorcycle here.
