Suzuki was another brand on the IMS circuit that had little in the way of new products to show. Like other manufacturers in the same boat, Suzuki chose to display some championship-winning works bikes. In a slight change, Josh Strang’s GNCC-winning RM-Z450 shared equal billing with Ryan Dungey’s Supercross and Motocross-winning RM-Z450.
The bikes start out as identical production machines, but are modified specifically for the rider and the type of racing anticipated.
Suzuki provided a draw for the sport bike set having pavement racers on hand to sign autograph posters. For some reason, the longest line was in front on Elena Myers. No doubt the popularity is all due to her amazing skill on the track?
