The current BMW line seems to have something for every type of rider, and the company appears set to diversify further. Holding pride of place in the center of the BMW booth at the IMS in Long Beach was this concept scooter. As you can see, despite an exotic look and two-color tires on a revovling stand, all backs are turned.
There were lines for show-goers wanting to sit on the new six-cylinder supertourer and for the various vertical single- and twin-cylinder dual-sport and adventure models. It was interesting to see how large a percentage of the BMW display was devoted to dirt-capable models.
