Land Speed Record (LSR) motorcycle racing has been considered a distinct segment in the sport of racing. A popular location for this sport is the Bonneville Salt Flats. The physical features of the salt flats make the area a perfect location for setting speed records.
Here is a brilliant concept sketch for a Land Speed Record (LSR) setting motorcycle. The conceptual drawing was done by Designer Marc Senger and the drawing represents what the future of motorcycling could be in the year 2031.
Marc's concept design is similar to the motorcycles in the upcoming futuristic movie Akira. His designs have the appearance of a forward thinking designer and his Audi LSR represents this very well. Over the years Marc has helped build an electric race vehicle, we hear that he even provided driving services during the race. Marc has written "I have contributed a vivid balance of fresh ideas and common sense to a series of projects". We hope that this design actually gets put into production.
