Top Gear Live Chooses Suzuki GSX-R600 Hot

TopGear LogoTop Gear Live is a touring show which includes a special live broadcast of the world-famous BBC gear-head show Top Gear and what is usually a Motor Show consisting of only four-wheeled machines. The 2010/2011 event, though, will feature a motorcycle which will look just right alongside the many high-performance supercars on display at the show – the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600, a first for the show.

Top Gear has a worldwide following and the show’s hosts - Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond – are celebrities both as part of the show and beyond. All of them are individually involved in many popular BBC-produced series, both related and unrelated to the auto industry, and several motorsports magazines and newspapers.2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 And, of course, there is The Stig – a ‘tame race driver’ which tests all of their exotic machinery on their test track near their studio in the UK.

The GSX-R600 is being used to expand the focus of the show and to increase awareness of the show’s fans for the incredible performance which can be had for so little money. Simply compare the bike’s MSRP of €8,200 (US$11,599) to what you might pay for a brand new Ferrari 599 GTB, and with the bike you also get blistering performance which will set your hair on fire! For many suffering through this Great Recession, it’s an easy choice and Suzuki is all too happy with that.
