
Day 1
Reigning MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo, opened Carole Nash Motorcycle Live in style today, kicking off nine days of full-throttle action at the NEC in Birmingham.
Day 2
One of the highlights of the day was the announcement of an all-new team from Honda which will take part not only in the Northwest 200 and TT road races, but also in the World Endurance championship, including a recently-announced round at Donington Park, less than 40 miles up the M42 from Birmingham.

Day 3
This year’s event was aimed at encouraging people of all ages and all levels of motorcycle experience to get involved – and ob this day it was apparent just how much this has been achieved. While licensed riders took part in the Yamaha Off Road Experience, two-wheel novices were zipping around the Get On Arena and kids got their first taste of bikes at My First Honda License.
Simon Webbe and BlakeSinger Simon Webbe, classical boyband Blake and TV presenter Sarah Cawood made a special appearance in the Get On Arena, where novice riders over 16 could try a free session on a scooter or motorcycle in complete privacy and safety. Simon and the boys from Blake are now fully-fledged bikers after completing their motorcycle tests with the industry-backed Get On campaign, while Sarah was just starting out.
Day 4
New bikes to interactive riding experiences and plenty of special features, visitors had a lot to pack in to the day at Carole Nash Motorcycle Live. Race fans could get a look at the actual machines ridden to victory by MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo and World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi, while custom enthusiasts could get their fix in the Custom Xtreme Zone sponsored by BSH and Streetfighters.
Day 5
The highlight for many bike fans is the presence of 38 major motorcycle manufacturers showcasing all the new models for 2011. From the long-awaited Aprilia Tuono V4R naked to the stunning Kawasaki ZX-10R superbike and the BMW super tourers – the K1600GT and K1600GTL – all the new machines were here to see, touch and feel.
Day 6
As the crowds of visitors enjoyed the exhibitor displays and interactive features on display at the Event, it’s the culmination of a huge amount hard work and organization. A core team of four people work over 11 months to fill the five halls of The NEC with 233 stands manned by over 4,000 people.
This year’s event offered six different opportunities to ride motorcycles, inside, outside, on road and off road. The industry-backed Get On campaign saw over 1,000 first-time riders experience a free session, while My First Honda License gave over 1,000 children the chance to have their first go on two-wheels.
Day 7
Thousands of bike fans – including model and TV star Calum Best – braved the freezing temperatures to attend the seventh day of Carole Nash Motorcycle Live at The NEC, Birmingham. Many visitors would be dreaming of escaping to warmer weather on their two-wheeled machines, and what better place to plan the trip of a lifetime than at the UK’s biggest motorcycle exhibition? In the Escape Zone sponsored by Yamaha Super Ténéré, visitors could find everything they need to head off into the sunset. From adventure ride tour operators to luggage manufacturers and clothing brands.
Day 8
The eighth day of Carole Nash Motorcycle Live was dedicated to all things off-road. MX riders from across the world flocked to the Event to celebrate Dirt Day and they were joined by a whole host of road racing stars. Honda MX1 riders Bobryshev and Goncalves Reigning British MX1 Champion and Honda rider Evgeny Bobryshev made an appearance along with British MX2 Champion and Yamaha rider Zach Osborne. Also at the Event were Kawasaki’s World MX1 contender Sebastien Pourcel and MX2 racer Max Anstie, as well as KTM’s World MX2 rider Jake Nicholls.
Day 9
A star-studded auction in aid of Riders for Health. Racing stars turned out in force to support the charity, which works to supply reliable transport for health workers in rural communities of Africa. James Whitham encouraged bidders in the auction Riders for Health ambassador and racing legend Randy Mamola was joined by Steve Parrish and James Whitham as they encouraged bids from bike fans, who had their eyes on the prizes and their wallets in hand. World Superbike stars Troy Corser, Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea and Moto2 contender Bradley Smith were also on hand to help.
