Our buddies over at H-D just hit a high point when their Facebook fan page tipped the 1 million mark. That’s right; over 1 million people want to know everything that’s going on with Harley. It’s quite an accomplishment being that the page just came into existence in 2008.
Needless to say that H-D is pretty excited about the virtual growth. “The Motor Company uses social networking sites like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter to make the Harley-Davidson brand more relevant with owners, riders and enthusiasts,” said Chad Hockerman, Project Manager Social Networking. “We’re doing this by maintaining an ongoing dialogue with current owners and building a new one with dreamers through engaging content that revolves around our products, our culture and our company. The million fans milestone is testament to this approach.”
That explains why my fan page only has 2 people, Harley stole them all. Now that the cat is out of the bag, you may return fans, I forgive you all.
