One Cool Art Deco Bike Hot

art_motorcycleSo this art deco motorcycle might not be street riding ready, but that didn’t stop it from stealing the show in NYC last month. The 1930 Henderson Streamline debuted to rave reviews at the Rhinebeck Grand National Meet, a popular motorcycle show. Art collectors and motorcycle riders alike showed interest in the make of this motorcycle…here is what we now know.

Today the relic will stay parked in a museum instead of riding on the streets. The restoration and rebuilding for this unique bike can be credited to owner and motorcycle collector, Frank Westfall. Unfortunately, Henderson, a subdivision of the Excelsior Motorcycle Manufacturer and Supply Company, made an attempt to rebuild in the 90s with little success.

This design brings together the old with the new for a picture perfect mod style motorcycle…now only if I could find one just like it.
