When you start riding dirt bikes when you’re 4 years old, there’s a good chance your whole life is gonna focus around two wheels. For AMA Pro Road Racer, Ryan Kerr, riding is all he’s ever wanted to do.
Past
- Started riding a 50 cc dirt bike by the time he was 4 years old.
- Began competing in motocross at age 5.
- He was 7 years old when he finished fourth in the nation.
- After breaking his ankle competing in the finals at Loretta Lynn’s motocross meet, he moved onto the Grand National Cross Country Series.
- In 2007-2008 he began racing in the AMA Pro Supermoto Championship.
- By 2009, he was competing as an amateur in the Supersport and Superbike classes.
Present
- Competes professionally as an AMA Pro Road Racer.
- Works as a mechanic at a power sports shop in his free time.
- Acts as an instructor at The Mid-Ohio School.
- Tied for 5th in the East Standings at Road
- His Mid-Ohio track lap times are enough to place him in the top 5 SuperSport riders.
Future
- Plans to ride for another year with SuperSport. Then, he wants to move onto the Daytona SportBike.
