Minnesota Viking's Fan Rides To Say...Thanks Hot

vik_bikeRarely do we talk about football here at AllAboutBikes, but one guy’s passions are bringing both together. Minnesota Viking’s fan, Todd Glocke, bleeds purple and gold so much that he’s willing to ride 1,126 miles to Mississippi just to say thanks.

Glocke and his three-man crew left on Tuesday from the Mall of America field in Minnesota, and are hoping to roll into Hattiesburg by Thursday. So what kind of bike will this dedicated fan be riding? None other than the Suzuki Volusia ‘Vike Bike’ that the Viking’s mascot rides on the field at home games. Dubbed ‘4 Days 4 Favre’ these die-hard Favre fans plan to visit Oak Grove High and Southern Miss where they hope to run into the football legend himself.

After the Viking’s stellar season, making a run all the way to the NFC Championship, it doesn’t seem too crazy to seek out one person for a simple thank you. And hey, if nothing else, it will probably be a great road trip

The Suzuki Volusia is a 805 cc 45-degree V-Twin engine powered by a heavier generator rotor. With a five-speed transmission, the Volusia will give a rear wheel force adding even more power to your ride.
