The ElectroCat Makes History at Pikes Peak Hot

electro_catRemember Eva Hakansson? She’s the designer behind the KillaJoule, a 400 mph electric motorcycle. There’s been a lot of buzz around her latest design, but she already has one design that debuted as the fastest electric bike.

Hakansson planned to race the ElectroCat herself, but a wrist injury forced her to watch from the sidelines. Biker John Scollon was the chosen rider to make electric motorcycle history at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The bike completed the course at Pikes Peak in a staggering 16 minutes and 55.849 seconds, making it the record to beat for other electric bikes.
