Back in 1983, Ronald Reagan took the fate of American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson into his own hands. By setting a tariff on imported motorcycles, Reagan was able to help keep Harley out of bankruptcy so they could focus, once again, on building quality bikes. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is honoring the motorcycle culture and bikers with the Born to be Wild: Vintage and Celebrity Motorcycle exhibit.
Opening on July 9 and running until November 9, 2010, the exhibit will provide a rare glimpse into motorcycle history by showcasing vintage bikes and famous movie bikes. Some of the bikes that guests can see on display include a 1903 Harley, a 1959 Cushman Eagle, and a 1970 Jawa
