This year marks the 87th anniversary of Laconia Bike Week.
The nine-day event began on June 12 with live music, biker build-off, blessing of the bikes, and so much more. Bikers can relax in the sun at Weirs Beach while taking part in a US Motorcycle Grand Prix, concerts, motorcycle photo exhibits, road exhibits, and fireworks.
Laconia Motorcycle Week has welcomed riders worldwide to bask in all things motorcycles and to enjoy the beauty of New Hampshire. Since its start in 1916, Motorcycle Week has evolved into the premier, worldwide bike event for riders to enjoy every summer.
Laconia will also be the first filming location, on June 19, for the docu-reality television series Biker Chics. The series will follow eight members of the all-female club East Coast Biker Chics. Filming will last all summer, following the girls throughout eastern Massachusetts.
