Motorcyclists Honor WV Mining Victims

harleyTo show their support for the 29 West Virginia coal miners that lost their lives in an explosion earlier this year, and their families, a group of motorcyclists started the “Ride for 29.”

The event, starting in Racine and ended at the Upper Big Branch mine, saw some wet weather, but didn’t deter the faithful riders. “I wouldn’t care if it was snowing or hail I would have been here,” said motorcyclist, Jim Cox.
