May 14-15 the Nashville Superspeedway will host the XDL Freestyle Competition. Stunters have been enjoying during the XDL competition for three years now and they are not about to gloss over the terrible disaster and flooding that hit Nashville at the beginning of May. XDL has partnered with WBUZ/WPRT radio station, Precision Motorsports and Revolution MC to establish “Motorcyclists Give Back.” The program will aim to promote nationwide assistance to a city in dire need of a hand. While riders roll in from all over the country they will become part of a program to show appreciation and respect to the people of Nashville. The program launches on Thursday with a Bike Night and XDL Welcome Party. Friday XDL is inviting the children from neighboring school districts to come out for free and learn about stunting by watching some of the best riders on earth. Saturday morning a Ride to XDL will kick off in Knoxville to let riders cruise to XDL together.
Saturday the official show will commence with a “World Record Bike Wash” during the event. Proceeds from the bike wash will go to benefit the F.O.P Children’s Camp. Throughout the weekend riders will also be collecting bottled water, dry goods, canned food and clothing in addition for performing probono shows at shelters in Nashville. Finally, XDL’s biggest thank you will be that half the event’s profits will go to flood relief.
With eyes wide open, stunters will descend upon Nashville during the second week in May. With them will come a wild show, talented riders and a thoughtful gesture to show Nashville how much they care.
