Those of you who have kids know that Twilight fever has taken over America's teen and tween population. The studio has been releasing stills from the movie to help generate some good PR buzz, and some of the latest shots feature the stars playing around with motorcycles.
Now, you may be wondering what anything having to do with Twilight is doing on the All About Bikes site, but stick with me here. Motocycles were featured fairly prominently in the Twilight: New Moon movie (hell, they totally rebuilt an old bike, pretty much from the ground up), and it isn't hard to imagine that it got a lot of youngsters psyched about having a motorcycle of their own. It's entirely possible that the Twilight franchise can do for motorcycles then what E.T. did for Reese's Pieces -- it nearly tripled the sales of the candy.
A whole new generation of people are being introduced to motorcycles (and the thrill of riding them) via these movies, and it will be interesting to see how many of them go on to own bikes of their own. Would you guys let your teen sons or daughters ride a motorcycle?
