Meet James Anthony Martinez of Ogden, Utah, a mouth breather who stole a yellow Yamaha motorcycle from the wrong guy's driveway on Sunday. The owner spotted him from the house, then ran outside to confront Martinez. This is where the trouble started. Martinez couldn't get the bike started, so he started pushing it. At this point, you probably know where this is going...if you guessed downhill, you'd be correct.
Martinez was able to get the bike to gain momentum as he pushed it downhill, but the owner of the bike was chasing him the whole way. As the owner was catching up, though, some people in the neighborhood were able to confront the thief. Believe it or not, this is where things get even better. When confronted by the neighbors, Martinez held up a sign -- that he had prepared in advance, in case he got caught -- that said, "Free Motorcycle. Needs Motor. No Key." Surprisingly, nobody fell for this crafty trick.
Martinez ended up dropping the bike and running over to a friend's house. Police later found him hiding under a blanket inside of a bedroom. Because they weren't sure if Martinez was armed, police were forced to draw their weapons. As he was arrested, Martinez gave police a false name. Once they got it all sorted out, officials discovered that he was wanted on three warrants in two other counties.
