Not all motorcycle clubs are about kidnapping members at gunpoint, you know (although admittedly, it makes them more interesting). Take the Hired Guns, for instance. Comprised of off-duty police officers who enjoy riding in their off time, the Guns spent their Saturday BBQ-ing and raising money for sick kids in Portland, Maine.
"Nobody gives like Americans give," said James Ambrose, an organizer of the event. "It just proves it right here. I think alot of times people want to give, there's a lot of big emergencies in the world it seems lately, but a lot of peple don't give because they don't know where their money goes."
The money raised at the BBQ went to Riana Inman, a 19-month-old girl battling CDIP, a chronic never disease, and 19-year-old Emily Rice, who has cancer. The club was able to raise almost $5,000 for the cause.
