Meet the Dodge Tomahawk V10 Superbike, the only motorcycle to land a spot on BusinessWeek's Most Expensive Stuff of 2010. At a soul crushing $700,000, it's easy to see why it made the list. So, what do you get for three quarters of a million dollars (including tax)?
To start, you get a ride that goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds. Once you hit 60 MPH, you can keep on going until you reach the bike's top speed of 300 MPH. To go along with all that, you also get two extra wheels. Why does this motorcycle have four wheels? Because this bike is so powerful and heavy, two wheels just weren't an option. To accomodate the bike's mass and speed, engineers designed a unique independent suspension that enables the bike to keep its motorcycle feel.
Then again, is a motorcycle still a motorcycle if it has four wheels? Because where I come from, that's called a quad.
