Electric motorcycle manufacturer, ZEV, is claiming to have the world’s fastest electric motorcycle. But they aren’t just making bold claims, ZEV is, or is trying to, put its money where its mouth is. “There can be only one 'fastest' street legal production electric motor scooter or bike in the world," ZEV says in a statement. "We tell them (other manufacturers) to bring their street legal production bike and to bring their betting money.”
ZEV is bragging about its ZEV 7000 scooter, and has said that the ZEV 7000 is the world’s fastest electric motorcycle in various promotions. So how fast does the ZEV 7000 go? A whopping 70 mph.
Yep, ZEV is the proud owner of the world’s tallest midget. But even though the top speed of 70 mph might not be impressive, the ZEV 7000 can claim a respectable amount of torque. 135 pounds of torque to be exact.
The ZEV 7000 scooter can maintain its 70 mph for about 65 miles. The bike only takes 25 minutes to acquire a ¾ full charge, and can get a full charge in about 2 hours.
If the ZEV 7000 truly is the fastest electric motorcycle in the world, I highly doubt that it will hold the title for long.

We are also testing a 10 Kw bike that runs in excess of 100 mph.
