Don’t get too excited, it’s not until 2031, but Audi’s superbike, the LSR, is scheduled to make an appearance at the Bonneville Salt Flats for time trials. Designer Marc Senger is very hopeful that the bike will make a huge impact on streamliners. They plan on shattering the land speed record, but we’re not quite sure how they’re going to do it.
The company has been hush-hush about engines, but we’re told it could be either a single or double engine, fueled by TDi Diesel powerplant.
