Ok, so we understand that readers are not going to agree with us about everything, but that's what makes this whole writing thing great. We love your feeback, even if it's off the wall. So, today's wanker of the day is Nic, who hails from Oregon.
Below is Nic's response to our "Top 12 Signs you're a Terrible Rider" article. He makes some arguments, not a microde of them make sense, but nevertheless, here's to you Nic, Sir Wanker of Oregon. He likes chaps and doesn't believe in wearing a helmet. Well hopefully you never bump your head or skin your bottom, because last time I checked, helmets helped with that sort of thing, and chaps were assless. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
-The Resident Wanker, Nic is that you?
"Who the hell is this idiot that wrote the article about 12 steps to prove you are a terrible rider or whatever it was? I have been riding for 40 years and wearing chaps is sign of a smart rider, not a terrible one! My skin is more important to me than his is, obviously. I believe that if a rider cares about his female passenger then he would require her to wear them also. Road rash is not fun, pretty or fashionable. Has this writer/person been riding for what, 10 minutes? Is his head up the dark place or what? That is the main one but I have others, including the bullcrud about helmets! Use them or not but do not make them a must item. They are not the cure all of accident prevention that these safety nannies seem to believe they are! Helmet use can and does kill riders (little known fact) but it is amazing how this fact is never talked about. If you are going to allow someone to put an article in your rag, then the least you can do is require that they have some expertise in whatever they are writing about."

I don't think I would wear chaps to protect my legs, but not wear a helmet to protect my head.
We should be looking at the safest ways to ride a motorcycle along with the best ways to protect ourselves.
This is very controversial, and a great way to bring these subjects to light!
