Triumph Dealers of America will present the 8th annual Barber Vintage Festival from October 12th through the 14th, and the 2012 Triumph Superbike Classic will take place at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama on June 22nd to the 24th.
Triumph North America CEO, Greg Heichelbech, called Barber Motorsports Park "one of the premier road courses in North America" in his announcement of the partnership. "The Triumph Superbike Classic is the perfect showcase for our high-performance motorcycles," said Heichelbech. "The Barber Vintage Festival allows us to put our rich brand heritage on living display at a venue that also includes the finest motorcycle museum in the world."
Gene Hallman, president of ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive event promoter of Barber Motorsports Park, said, "Triumph has been a longtime supporter of the Barber Motorsports Park and its events. We're excited to have them as such a devoted sponsor for two of our major events at Barber Motorsports Park, and we look forward to a great partnership for many years to come."
The 2011 AMA Pro Series race brought more than 34,000 fans to Barber Motorsports Park. This years Triumph sponsored race will help Triumph Motorcycles celebrate its 110th anniversary and mark the Series' tenth visit to Barber. The 8th annual Barber Vintage Festival is expected to attract even more than the over 51,000 guests who attended the event in 2011. The weekend long festival features vintage road racing, seminars, an air show, and a parts swap meet.
