Harley Celebrates 3rd Annual Women Riders Month Hot

marisa-miller-harley-davidson-may-05Women riders are the fastest growing motorcycle demographic, and currently, they represent nearly a quarter of all US motorcyclists. This May, Harley is celebrating the women who find freedom on two wheels.

Harley-Davidson will be celebrating its 3rd Annual Women Riders Month this May, with a series of events around the country. This Friday is International Female ride day, but Harley will also encourage women to hit the road on May 14th for its own celebration of women riders.

Local Harley dealerships will also be hosting girls-only garage parties throughout the month of May.

“Every time I start my motorcycle, my heart starts pumping faster,” said Marisa Miller, supermodel and Harley enthusiast. ”Learning to ride has changed my life. The challenge of riding has made me stronger and given me a new outlet for my adventurous side.  I’ve met dozens of women riders who share my passion for the open road and I’m honored to help inspire even more women to get started on their riding journeys.”
