The New Progressive International Motorcycle show is fast approaching, and custom builders around the country are getting their bikes ready for the largest traveling custom bike show in North America. The Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Competition kicks off on November 12th, in Dallas, and won't finish until the International Motorcycle Show makes its way to Daytona on March 9th.
Bike builders can enter into any of the 12 shows throughout the year, for a chance to win a part of the $90,000 cash prize. Three builders will be chosen at each show, but only one will be crowned the American Champion at the finale in Daytona.
“Our partnership with Biker Pros Media and affiliation with the AMD World Championship, coupled with the built-in visibility from more than 600,000 motorcycle enthusiasts who attend our motorcycle shows, has positioned this contest to be a must-enter for custom bike builders,” said Progressive International Motorcycle Shows VP and General Manager Tracy Harris. “No other competition will offer this much exposure to custom bike builders or the chance to become the definitive American Champion of custom bike building.”
The competitors will judge each other's bikes, in order to crown a winner in three different categories. Each round of the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike show will showcase custom bikes in the freestyle, modified Harley, and performance custom categories. There will also be a “People's Choice” award, that will let fans vote for their favorite bikes.
“With the AMD World Championship as a benchmark, the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows and Biker Pros have our sights set on creating nothing but the best for both the custom bike builder and show attendee,” said Bike Pros Media Partner Bob Kay, the agency managing the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show competition. “This will be the largest, most professional and prestigious series of custom bike shows in the country and this collection of priceless motorcycles will create an awe-inspiring display not to be missed on this year’s show circuit.”
