Women’s Sportbike Rally V, Deals Gap Hot

wsrv2010logoSeptember 10-12 the famous Deals Gap will see the return of the Women’s Sportbike Rally for the 5th year. Their dedicated sponsor, Draggin’ Jeans will show support for the fourth year taking the excellent opportunity to educate women on safety while having the time of their life riding the challenging roads.

Friday night offers a fun social atmosphere for riders to get to know each other with the group photo, 50cc racing, the Sportbike Challenge and free tee-shirts. Saturday will be prime riding day and with the proximity of Deals Gap and the rest of the scenic Smokey Mountains, it’s sure to be a day to remember.  After riding all day Saturday the ladies will unwind at the Sportbikegirl Luau at Fontana Village Resort, prizes, music and food will be present.

Net Proceeds from the rally are donated to the Tiffany Weirbach “Sportbikegirl” Melanoma Foundation. This original Sportbikegirl passed in 2001 but the rally and women riders keep her alive in spirit. While celebrating life this rally has donated $7,000 to the foundation with this activity. The weekend is sure to be a fun and happy gathering of women who love to ride, offering plenty of opportunity for friends to reunite and news friendships to be made.
