Jimi Joe's F**K Cancer Run

“Because everyone knows someone” is this year’s theme for the Jimi Joe’s F**k Cancer Run in Alameda, California on May 1st. The event is to raise money for the American Cancer Society. For anyone who has lost someone or who knows someone who has battled cancer, this event is a great opportunity to get out there and give the thoughts about cancer a swift kick in the balls. This years event will be hosted by the Oakland Stroke Motorcycle Club in honor of Jimi K – one of the founding members who lost his battle with cancer.

There will be a club house poker run that stops at Skeleton Crew MC then Peacemaker MC and finally the Red Nation MC before ending at the Italian American Hall. The run will conclude with plenty of festivities that include live music by The Circuit Breakers Blues Band. Patrons can also enjoy the barbeque, 50/50 raffle, event t-shirts and prizes.
The event will be conveniently located next to Godspeed which is the all in one biker bar-tattoo parlor -maintenance stop and gear shop as well as other local favorite biker bars such as The Eagle Tavern and Zeitgiest which has been rated as a must visit by Zagat.
