Down south the weather is hot but the Leesburg Bike Fest is hotter. There is more excitement and fun packed into this three day event than nearly any other event this summer. From April 23rd – 25th head down to Leesburg, Florida to take advantage of the free admission at the 14th annual Leesburg Bike Fest. Festivities will include roughly forty performances over the three days across the eight stages that will be set up along Main Street. Performing artists include Great White, Bad Mannerz, Hayfire and the AC/DC tribute band – Highway to Hell. In the mood to get inked? Check out the over forty national and regional tattoo artists that will be doing live tattooing during the event at the Tried and True Tattoo Expo and Show.
The coordinators for Leesburg Bike Fest have pulled out all the stops to include a poker runs, scenic rides and biker activities. More specifically, there will be The Famous Rat Hole’s Custom Bike Show, an award for Ms. Leesburg Bike Fest for 2010 and appearances by Jerry “Motorman” Palladino and Team X-Treem. To frost this cake of fun there will also be several “Ride Like a Pro” safety demonstrations, the American Motor Dome “Wall of Death” and a Disc Connected K-9 show. While at the event visitors will also find drill team demonstrations and a biker expo consisting of vendors from around the world showcasing all the latest and greatest gear, equipment, mods and bikes as well as anything and everything else you need to fit your lifestyle. 
To accommodate the event as well as provide amazing food and ice cold drinks, all the bars will be staying open until 2am each night of the festivities. Local bar participants are the Opera House Saloon, Rats Hole Bar and The Club Palace. Each one will be serving up its own house blend of great American food and drink specials. Being that this event is one of the largest in the state, lodging is likely to fill up fast. Book your hotels or campsites as soon as possible. There are over two dozen hotels within a fifty mile radius of the event and camping near the event at Pleasant Oak Camping, Windy Acres Farm Campground and Chislom Trail Campground. You will not want to miss this event. With free admission and over a dozen shows, it is well worth the drive and the time.
